This newer small track seems designed for the sports car C71/2/3 or the C81 monster truck, the lanes are wider and overall size of mat is slightly bigger so its suitable for speeding the faster sports car or C81 monster truck. It can obviously be used for driving the mini turbo models as well, but the first version of the mat had narrow lanes which is better for the mini to drive and challenging. The surface of the mat has a different feeling than the first version, it seems quite good surface. The thing that i didnt like is that it has a big square bar code design on the side of the track! That was not needed on the mat! Anyway its not a big issue. The mat came in a box safely rolled and arrived in 2 weeks time to the UK, so all fine, recommended mat
