It is a small, very simple camera. 4 AA Batteries and SDcard are not included. To use just place camera firmly, turn knob to ON position and let it there for the time you need it. No sign of camera turning on, unable to find the pilot light that instructions describe to blink twice. After turning camera off I inserted SDcard in provided USB adapter to my PC and a video folder was full of videos and photos of my head. You have to open and rewrite date and time file so it is correct in photos, if you change "Yes" to "NO", date and time will not appear in photos. Fair quality and useful. I like it so far.
