Tremendous HV generator. I used just one 14500 battery to try and it made an 1.5cm arc. Very strong and noisy arc that smells ozone and looks really dangerous. Can imagine what it can do with 2x18500!!! Very nice device. NOT A TOY, be careful! But enjoy it ;)

LiamS Do you just connect a battery directly to the input wires, or do you need to make some sort of circuit to power it?

ebuyer Direct battery connection. It seems to have a input current limit inside, about 1 or 2 amp.
