kquadrat Don't update the receiver with the free and open source mcHF Firmware. This is a clone with complete different Display and in case you do it, you will brick your device. I am in contact with Banggood Support and the Manufacturer behind it. It was promised to get the boot loader and firmware, but I am still waiting. They are not providing it public, which works again the GnuPublic License. I mean the hardware is nice, but with a closed software and no source code, so that you are able to improve and upgrade the device - it is just another ham radio with a static software
