BG181164216 I HAVE SEEN IT USED IN SALTWATER SO "IT CAN BE" BUT ITS ELECTRONICS SHOULD BE SPRAYED WITH A WATER DISPLACING SPRAY LIKE WD40.BOAT MUST BE CLEANED IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH USE WITH FRESH WATER FLUSHED THROUGH COOLING TUBE & INSIDE BOAT & DRIED THEN RE-SPRAYED WITH WD40.

BG181164216 The boats ESC is Rated at 30 amps. I would recommend sticking with the stock battery unless you upgrade the boats Motor & ESC.
