I would give this device 5 stars... it appears to work very well, but there are bugs in the software.... "Good" air quality is only from when the reading is greater than 0, so when the reading is zero, (no particles at all), the display goes red, and it shows "Severely Pollated" (SIC). Polluted is spelled incorrectly. A minor detail, but should be addressed, see image.

Q: Although the adjuster is attached to the input side and the output side, how do you adjust the output current?

James Lewis The output voltage adjustment will be labeled CV, so the other pot will be the current adjustment which is usually labeled CC.

James Lewis I have used the light with flat top 30Q batteries... they work fine, at first glance it looks like they will not, due to the recessed positive terminal in the torch... but the flat top is actually small enough to work.

James Lewis These are a bit \"unregulated\" but since they are 4x white LED in series, they run happily at 12v... ideally you will want some kind of heatsink and to get the full 70w you will need regulation and a good heatsink.... I just tested one of mine at exactly 12v, and it pulled just about 2A, so ~24watts.

I am not sure but if this is connected strait to the car battery it might burn. There is no LED driver to limit the current.
