I love Wemos D1 mini for it's cheap and has plenty of pre-made shields. If the sensor you want have no existing shield, then these protoboards are there to let you build your own shield with very few soldering needed.

I love these boards, they are cheap, very small, and there are lots of shields and protoboards to use then with no hassle.

I love Wemos D1 mini for it's cheap and has plenty of pre-made shields. If the sensor you want have no existing shield, then these protoboards are there to let you build your own shield with very few soldering needed. This one allows you to plug for exemple two relay shields on one ESP. You just have to take care of not pluging the d1 of one of the two relay, and route it to another digital input (d2 in my case)

You can use it using the BH1750 library on Arduino and ESPxx. Gives you a value in lux . The library, wiring and example can be found there : https://github.com/claws/BH1750
