This is a great tool for model train work especially under rthe layout table. The headband is very light and comfortable and the ability to switch between a wide lighting area or a more focused one is very handy for hard to see locations. I have also used it as a hand held flashlight for quick checks of rolling stock detail. I can see it will be useful in many other situations too, like automotive under dash work and anyplace where 2 free hands are required. A great tool and a very good price.

Works great as an indoor/outdoor temperature monitor. Wish it had a calibration function though as it seems to be a degree or two off. Also would like to switch between C and F degrees. But at this price point that would be a lot to expect.

Seems to work just fine......not sure about the calibration though.......will have to compare with other levels I have. Like the illuminated digits.

This is a great little power supply for model train stuff. I'm using it for turnout switch power and misc. control power though a 12v to 5v buck converter. Very compact and stable.

Q: any way to calibrate with external resistor?

erosffoeg It uses an NTC resistor as the sensor like most other cheap meters. The NTC is very non-linear and so the NTC resistance is measured and then the non linearity is compensated for. Adding a series resistor will increase the displayed temp - and a parallel will decrease it. So yes you can calibrate that way - problem is though that the internal compensation will not now be correct and so high accuracy will only be a the calibrated temp. The error across a range of temps will be related to the amount of correction made at the calibration temp. NTC range is from several K down to low 100s.

I tried out the soldering station as soon as it arrived today. Works great. Heats up very quickly and the on/off switch is very convenient. Temperature control is very good and is a nice feature when working with small items that require reduced heat to prevent damageto surrounding material. I think that this is going to be a great addition to my my work bench.

I really like the sonic toothbrush that I bought earlier. I bought 4 replacement brushes as they do loose stiffness over time as one would expect. Now I have another year or two of use and will purchase more as the need arises. This is an excellent value.

These replacement brushes were ordered along with the electric tooth brush. We have not used them yet as the original one is still in use. These replacement items look and feel to be of the same quality as the original. I am sure that they will work just as well. Excellent value and I would recommend them to anyone interested.
