snoopy You do not say what the weight or the wingspan of your plane is. about your 4S battery what's the C? 40C, 70C? Sorry, the information you provide is not sufficient.

Good. Small and compact. Tested with 16 channel demux module ordered from Ali, Works perfectly. Note: Only the bios of 2017 works. The others don't bind; thus download only the 2017 bios and update with it.Also check power supply's stability. If power connection is unstable, the receiver will unbind then rebind once power becomes stable again.

Q: I have been using analog scopes but as they are 30 years old and waveforms are blurred, I want to buy a lower bandwidth digital one but am on limited budget. I just need to examine Arduino and its mixed signal I/O (such as growing plants, heating ,water etc) and RC/FC related signals. Which is better. this one or Instrustar?

Good but why XT60 connector if the rating is 180A? Two XT90 in parallel? One XT150 is not sufficient.

Colin49 It would have to be a very very small EDF. Would work better as a twin prop.

SmileOnion If you replace with a 2s capable 8520 you can use 2S for more thrust. Test is required before use,however.

Q: One tip: I found out that some 8520 motors can 2S which would increase thrust. Thus by replacing the motor this unit could maybe 100g thrust.

Q: This model can't fly by itself as the battery is outside the plane, Assuming flying outdoors, is this one subject to aerospace regulations(250g,registration,pilot license etc) as well? The C/L planes of the past had fuel inside so they would be a different case.Taking exam and logging flight hours is too expensive for me and I don't want plane registration either.
