yassinevic Anarduino alone can not supply enough power for the job. You should use mosfet or relay . you cab search youtube for a how to.

I use this laser on a home made laser cutter using CNC shield and GRBL. It cuts through 1 mm balsa at 150 mm / min, You need to focus it, then cuts a very clear line. Engraved on thicker wood, gave a crisp line

I ordered three sets - shipping was fast, but expensive. I found that the rods are not all the same diameter. This causes the bearings to stick. Four of the linear bearings started dropping balls over my desk on the first day. The end connectors can not grip the rods properly, no matter how tight you make it. I replaced the linear bearings with commercial ones, but as the rods are wrong diameter, it is still not useable. The lead screws, nut, normal bearings and couplers works fine. Bang good customer service is of no use.

Jacobus Hi there Sivertsen - please tell me how you switch the laser? I want to use Arduino and GRBL, but do not know how to get the arduino to switch it on and off.

Very pleased with the 2.5W version; yes, it takes a little tweaking, but I'd produced several items on it, and I'm pleased with the results. Cuts everything from 28lb cardstock to 2mm veneer and birch. (If you want to cut something harder you'll need a more powerful module). In fact, I also purchased the 5W module too, So lot's of options.

I used two of these on an Arduino eggbot. Both worked first time. I will find a use for the rest - perhaps a small lazer engraver, or another eggbot? Exactly the same as my local electronics store sells, only waaaaaayyy cheaper. I bought 5 for less than what two would have costed at the local store.

Jacobus I had the same issue. To test, I used pliers to bend the plates to fit in the adapter. But for use, I will cut the plug off and fit my own.

Comes in a plastic case. Case have space for more bits, where I can store my other bits. They are quite sharp, but protected with a red sleeve. I will be using it on a home built CNC machine, not tested to date.

Good value for money This is the fourth of these stepper motors I ordered from Bang Good, which tells everything you should know about it. The first three arrived without wires, and this one arrived with a damaged plug, and with the wires. Fortunately it is not so badly damaged that it can not be used. I will just have to leave it alone once its plugged in. I do not think I will stop at four...

The steppers works fine. It was sent without any wires although the description states that it comes with 300 mm. I ordered 3, and none of them came with the wires.
