dazzleaj I have 10 of the S2 lights. It fits in some loosely and others very tightly. One it is way too big for . I think the problem is with the light, not the magnet. I tried all 10 using each of the 3 magnets that I received. The results per light were consistent with each of the three magnets. The magnets may vary also but not with the ones I have.
