Copter123 Youare fine and leagal with this. The Total weight of the model is aprox 98gm, which is well below the CAA Licence law of maximum (unlicensed) 250gm. Thats why I fly these small light models at my local park, when I dont want to go to our RC Club Airfield

Copter123 Sorry,I havent investigated a source of new tips, yet. Hopefully kept clean, the original tip will last for my limited use.

Q: Will this mount on old Phoenix 2000 V1?

Copter123 Yes,it matches the Volantex Motor Spec I had in my V1 Phoenix 2000. Ive successfully put Racestar 1400kV 2212 brushless motor, directly on the front bulkhead (exterior) as a mod to the Phoenix 1600 and 2000. The Volantex motors are Pants. You can get 3 x2212s for the price of subject motor and as well as being an easy mod, it works very well. Only con is an un-cowled motor, but that doesnt worry me. It runs cool!
