btreut there are several reports that the VIA VL805 chipset has massive problems under Linux. I was unable to get a very similar card working.

btreut google for QS-2405CCBD-3A, choose images, and pick the result at picclick.com. It looks exactly like the module offered here. There is a nice picture explaining the function of the pots.Circuit diagram may be this one: www.mpja.com/download/31562ps.pdf
