I love this light. I was looking for a USB powered light with a remote control for my wife's office that I could put on top of a curved monitor. She studies into the evening and uses a wireless keyboard that is not lit and has paperwork on the desk in front of a pair of curved 32 inch monitors. She needs some light for the desk space that is not as harsh as the room light but more consistent than the monitor light. I picked up a small "sewing machine" LED lighting kit for the keyboard drawer and added this light to the top of a monitor. It is perfect. The remote allows you to turn on and off the light as well as dim it and set the color temperature. The only think that could make it better than perfect is if there were software based controls for Windows.
