A10 is the mode switch input. Leave A10 open at power on for basic 9 song mode. In this case: A1-A9 trigger songs and CN1 starts second song. In playing A10 functioning as "PAUSE" , and CN1 is as "RESUME" Pull down (& hold low) A10 at power on for SCM trigger mode. In this case: A1-A5(?) works as address input, A10 and CN1 no function. Address coming from number negation (not 2's complement). A1 means 1, A2 =2 , A3 = 4 , A4 = 8 , A5 = 16 Example : if you want 19th song, PULL DOWN A1 & A2 & A5 together. 19 = 1+2+16 therefore A1+A2+A5 In binary : 10011 in SCM code 01100 In every two mode, retrigger restarts song, other port trigger stops actually played song, and start triggered.
