Timely delivery for this good Quality Brushless motor, intended for use in my Volentex 2.4m Motor Glider. I have had a lot of success with Racestar Motors, previously purchased and flown. For this reason I purchased the Racestar in preference to the Volantex, the latter have permanently failed on me, in the past. The only con with this style of motor, is the shaft protruding from the rear, which could be a Lipo killer in the event of a heavy nose in landing! Some sort of firewall barrier is needed, to prevent Lipo damage.

BG465710361 Iam buying one to use in a scale Supermarine Walrus with the motor driving a 'pusher' prop in a nacelle. That rear shaft on the motor will allow me to mount the prop reversed with the motor rotating as designed, giving me an efficient 'pusher'without changing wiring or plugs.

spina Agreethere is a potential danger to the LiPo. I hacksaw off the rear shaft and then grind neat and flat very close to the motor. JohnS
