I bought the head wearing magnifying glass to both be able to see surface mount components and to check my soldering after I have finished. They are great. How did I ever survive without them? Both the LED light and the eye piece swivel up and down separately. I found they rest on my face without the strap at the back and are not too heavy. At times you may get a double vision effect as you are looking through two eye lenses, but after getting used to them you focus on the smd components or solder joints.
