The USB power bank came packed in standard Banggood shipping bag. Inside this the USB power bank front and rear covers are individually wrapped. They are reasonably well protected from damage but if roughly handled during shipping may take some damage as they were not protected by bubble wrap. This did not occur in this case as they arrived in good condition. The USB power bank consists of front and back covers which clip together after installing 10x 18650 batteries. The batteries I have a cheap generic lithium 18650s which I have had for many years. I made sure that all batteries were charged to roughly the same voltage before installing them as, once installed they are all in parallel with each other. If any very in voltage too greatly installing them may cause them to overheat and or damage the contacts or themselves. Once the batteries are installed the front and back covers just clip together and the small display cover can be attached to protect the display / circuitry and complete the front cover. Very happy with it overall.
