This boost buck converter works perfectly, has a very stable output even with big variations in input voltage, but can not handle 8 Amps as advertised. The unit gets too hot and will burn eventually. The heat sink is too small, or the efficiency to low. Therefore only 3 stars for quality. Use this unit at max 4 amps and you will have no problem. I have ordered already several of these units, but always with limited amps use (max 4 amps). If banggood would list this as a 4A unit, quality would get 5 stars.
