Very low quality parts in this kit! Concerning the breadboard: The breadboard had many strips that were not installed correctly and shorted to the strip next over, and even more dangerous was the positive and negative rails in one of the power rails were shorted together from the factory, (Picture included) if I hadn't looked this breadboard over carefully I could have ruined my Arduino. Concerning the power supply: Every pin header on the breadboard PSU was soldered in at some funny angle, obviously done carelessly by hand. Many pins were bent out of the package too. The overall appearance when received was poor. Concerning the jumper leads: Only a small number were acceptable or usable when received. The pins are some sort of fairly solid metal (I think some steel alloy) and were cut with the same kind of end cutters used to clip excess lead length off through-hole PCB mount components, so instead of a nice clean cut which makes it easy to insert the leads into the breadboard, the cut is very rough and leaves a sharp tail on the end, which makes it hard to impossible to insert into the breadboard without first sanding the burr down on every single lead.
