I bought this for my brother-in-law's old HP laptop. The socket on the laptop is for a 1/4 inch plug, and the voltage requirement is within tolerances for this power supply. He lives in another state, so I won't be able to test this on that laptop, but I'm reasonably certain it will work. It appears very well constructed, and was a fraction of the cost of a comparable unit on the Big "A" which looks exactly like this one, and might well be the same model. Shipping was much faster than the last from-China order I placed. I'm very happy with my purchase at this time.
