bought one a year ago for my SSS 5685.800kv worked fine on a conquest cat on 12s and prather 260 got 63 mph. a 'pal' said could turn gas props so I stupidly tried a lug cut x470 and the ESC failed. not a big bang, just stopped, no heat or anything batteries are 60C zippy. Just stopped and didnt go again. So bought a second one and this time on an SSS 5685 1000kv. did 64mph on an x455 so taking advantage of the extra 10k revs. so far so good. My fault first time over driving but would hope it would either explode or thermal cut, then recover. but so far so good. trying a prather P255 and a uk Prop shop 2055 this weekend so hopefully into the 70's without failure. very simple to program off the tranny. Just had to do it inverted channel 3 with full up stick = off. set the beep parameters then reverse the tranny function to get it all working, down = off etc. Going by the recharge taken think it was peeking at around 130 a and tootling around at 40a so all cool, doubt if anything got over 25 C. expect to be pushing 160a this week maybe.
