I have received this camera module in good order but when I connected it it burned and smoked up immediately. I’ve connected it the way the manual says it should be connected. Why does the manual says that the black wire is +5 Volts and the red is ground… this is wrong.! Before I connected the camera I checked the forums and the forums confirmed the manual. So even I though it was wrong I connected it the way the manual says it should be connected. And it destroyed now… Take a good look at the picture in the manual.. It clearly shows the red wire on the ground and black on the +5 Volt. Banggood should make a Big red notification on the product site about the wrong information in the manual..! Corey76 I had similar problem with similar model, but the polarity of the connector was reversed, smoked up and disconnected it fast, reversed the connector and was lucky enough it still worked. Very incompetent on banggoods side.

DJ1981 This is horrible, but not uncommon unfortunately. Always pull out your tester and check polarity before plugging in any product such as this.

benfromparis Manual is wrong. I plugged it today as the colors should be (RED => ; BLACK => GND) and it worked.Manual still not corrected :-(

Draconisys The red wire is always the positive wire. The black wire is always the ground wire. If you weren't an internet moron, you'd know things, such as that.
