Excellent package protects the product from transport damaging. Anyway, the gauge did not come absolutely square. With some effort, I was able to bring it to the highest possible precision I can measure. I have some difficulties reading the marks. The surface, although sanded, reflects some light, so it's hard to find a good eye angle to get a good reading. Marks are white painted. I expected to get a laser engraved marks, I believe that engraving would increase readability. Otherwise, finish is excellent. Edges are processed with high precision. Holes are precisely dimensioned to receive a 0,5mm or 0,7mm pencil. Aluminum sanded surface is nicely red anodized.
