This is the Satellite Receiver only so the instructions on the page are not correct - they require the use of the receiver. A lot of flight controllers have a port for direct Spektrum satellite connection and binding which this will work with. Check with your specific FC and software documentation for the binding procedure - I use a Sparky board with Dronin. Range check is comparable to other DSMX clone satellites and over 1200m should be expected. The Orange LED on the Satellite will flash one time when power is first applied. It will flash several times during binding process. It will stay illuminated when satellite is functioning normally. I've seen it flashing once per second with signal loss. This satellite receiver is small, light and inexpensive - perfect, what more can you ask for?

Works just as good as original, tested to 500 meters on my Lantain 105mm micro build. I removed the case and its a perfect fit inside the frame. Also saved weight. Delivery was very fast.
