First, I bought a locally-branded soundbar (for almost twice the price of this), but the wireless sub-woofer didn't work. Then I bought a Sony HT-CT80 (for even more money), but the bluetooth didn't work. Then I bought this, and everything works. I did a side-by-side audio test with this and the Sony, before I returned the Sony. Of course, the HT-CT80 had a stronger low-end, but those types of speakers generally have too much low-end - they're not natural sounding. Listening to this soundbar on its own, it's good. Maybe not the best for loud pumping music or people who want to feel the house shake when there's explosions in a movie, but it sounds as good or better than any other 2.0 soundbar I've heard; it's fine for watching movies, playing games, and background music. The remote is solid and feels great and everything works well. My only gripe is this: Selecting an input source from the remote should also turn the soundbar on. But it automatically turns on via HDMI/CEC (and I think some other input modes that I haven't used) so overall, it's 5-stars. Comparing this to other 2.0 soundbars, this is the best value for money.
