This extension tube is an excellent upgrade to the standard Astrolux S41S, because an 18650 cell massively increases the runtime of the light. I also like my lights to be longer in length as well, so that's a win-win for me. The finish is very nice, although some people dislike the notably aggressive knurling. I personally love aggressive knurling, because it means I'm very unlikely to drop my light, whether I'm wearing gloves or using it barehanded. For those of you who like protected cells, I can report that my EagleTac 3500 mAh 18650s fit snugly in this tube with no rattle. That makes me happy, because they're 10A cells and work perfectly in my Nichia 219B version S41S.
