I bought this fan especially for soldering (to blow the smoke away) and drying fresh glue. It works for both. Its noise is average, don't expect absolute silent working. The cable is very short, I need to expand it soon. Overall, I like it, I'm sure it's OK for cooling a TV Box, too, I'd consider the noise though.

BG857125037 Hi there, the noise is not so much a concern for me, as I want to use it to cool an air cooled gasoline engine in an RC car ... so the noise is kind of a good sign for me as it hopefully means it moves a good amount of air. So would you say it blows quite a good amount of air for an 80mm 5v fan?
