24/05/2024PaulFillion Voltage sag, internal resistance and "C" rating are related. Voltage sag is equal to the internal resistance times the current draw. The power dissipated in the battery as heat is equal to the voltage sag times the current, or the square of the current times the internal resistance. If the power dissipated in the battery is excessive, it swells and is ruined. That limits the maximum load, which is expressed as the 'C" rating. There is NO WAY that a battery with high voltage sag is 70 C!
