The unit arrived on time, but the UV fluorescent tubes are not UV fluorescent tubes so flies are not attracted into the unit. It appears that to save money the manufacturer has put a blue LED strip into a frosted plastic tube to give the impression of a UV black-light. This means flies aren't attracted to the device and therefore it is useless. I will attempt to fix the device by swapping out the LED strip for a UV LED strip but I probably will not purchase this from BangGood. It probably won't cost me so much, but I shouldn't have to do it. It should work straight from the manufacturer. But it doesn't. I also had to take the crappy plug off it and put a proper British plug on it because the adaptor they provide is, frankly, a death trap.
