This is a must have for anybody who regularly gets the iron out. It works in seconds and brings tips up like new (so long as you start with a new tip, old tips may need re-tinning). Use it between every few joints, or every five minutes as a rule of thumb, and after finishing while the iron is still up to temperature. It seems to be very gentle on the tip coating, my new iron still looks as good as when I got it after a month of heavy use. It has helped to make me a much more proficient solderer, my joints are clean and fast because my tip is always so clean. There are cheaper similar items but this one is very heavy duty and well made, worth a couple of pence extra. As always Banggood are (nearly always) the best for price, quality, delivery times and customer service. I will post some pictures of my iron and tip to show what this thing does soon.
