So if you are driving in the rain then it should be fine but I would not submerge the truck as water will go into the plastic box and damage the electronics. If you really want it waterproof I suggest replacing all the electronics to waterproof or watch videos on how to waterproof RC electronics. You can’t seal the box completely because of the steering linkage which has to move. You can block some of the holes or use a chassis mount steering servo set up then seal the box but I still wouldn’t submerge it for fear of damaging the stock electronics. Voir Plus
