/ This is the third of these camera's I've bought. They work fanstatically, both in bright light, as well as low light. The only problem I have is with the mount. The camera is held to the base by two sheet metal screws, which constantly work loose. I've had to glue the cameras into place to keep them from moving around.

I got this for the large display, to use in low light, or difficult to use places. It's wonderful execpt for one issue, the symbols are way too small. Don't let the big numbers fool you, as they are very easy to see, the other symbols are quite small. For example, with resistance, it's difficult to see if you are reading Mega ohms, Kilo ohms, or just ohms as the "M" and "K" are not much larger than the decimal point. Also, since each position of the selector knob has multiple functions, it's difficult to tell what actual function you are in. Other than it's useless for what I needed it for, it seems to be a good meter. Another improvement, which wouldn't cost much is the screw that holds the battery cover should be captured so that it doesn't fall out of the cover when you replace the batteries.

I got this for the back of an RV, for sleeping at night. Noise is low, but not as low as I hoped for sleeping. Paid extra and bought from US warehouse for faster shipping... that didn't happen. In fact it took 3 days before it even left the warehouse. I won't make that mistake again. On power consumption, this pulls 0.6A on low, and 1.2A on high. It moves quite a lot of air for it's size. I may try adding a voltage regulator to lower the speed for lower current and to make it more quite.

Interesting voltmeter I use on my RV. The display is small, only 7mm (1/4 inch) tall. They are too bright at night, and too dim during the day for driving, so don't put on your dash, unless it's hard to see from the drivers seat. I placed it low near the passengers seat, well away from the drivers view. There are 3 connections, Main, Aux and Ground. They are not marked, The "+" is Main, the "-" (brass colored connection) is Ground, and the middle is the Aux input. The "Main" is where it gets it's power from. Depending on the digits displayed it uses 7ma to 12mA, the max when first turned on when it displays 888 888. The "Aux" input uses almost no power. I measured 0.1mA, which is the bottom range of my meter. On my RV, I use the "Main" on the house batteries, which have solar panels on them, so are charged everyday, and the car battery is the "Aux". This is so I can read the power at any time, but not worry about discharging the car battery when parked for months in winter.

Q: To the technical specifications you declare maximum voltages 18V maximum output current 2A, 18X2 = 36W max, but you say 150W. What is the truth???

idahobob I do not have one, but if you look at the panel size, it's half that of a typical 100W, so more likely 40-50W, so your 36W would be in the ball park. Also note that even correct specs, they are from testing under ideal conditions, with the light source perfectly perpendicular to the panel. The "rated output" is rarely ever seen outside of the lab. Thus over buy the amount of solar panel for your needs, never under.
