KalteLötstelle No, it only sends the "open" event. The status (whether it was closed again afterwards) cannot be determined. Possibly the door/window was closed again after opening, possibly it is still open. The device sends only one event when opening, there is no status of opening. It is not suitable for security applications / Smarthome.
