Very good truggy for the price. Well built and pretty fast, with excellent handling as well. Much better alternative to WL Toys A979B for just a few dollars more.

I can not get these gears to work properly in my WL Toys A979B truck. The internal differential gears bind when installed in that stock differential housing, but are very smooth when installed in the aluminum upgrade housings. The external planetary and differential gears will not mesh properly in the stock differential housing. This set is completely unusable in the WL Toys A979B truck.

Q: is it worth buying?

Billy Worth buying if you are installing upgraded metal differential gears, which do not work well in the stock plastic differential case. Metal gears work very well inside these upgraded metal cases. However, one of the four I received did not have threads installed in the case and was unuasble.
