Serkan Disassembled the unit and soldered another switch in parallel with the original "take photo/record video" button. Took it out of the casing using long 1mm thick wires going through the venting holes. Very easy hack, works like a charm. No vibrations, sharp pictures. It could also be triggered with a microcontroller, timer or an IR sensor.
