The Elephone U frontally is virtually identical to some much more expensive brand phones. On the back there is the fingerprint sensor, camera and flash while the glossy surface shows a logo that informs on incoming calls by lighting up. On the left side there are the volume and ignition buttons and they have a firm and reliable click. On the lower part only the USB Type C connector. The 6-inch Full HD + (2160x1080 pixel) AMOLED display with double lateral curvature has noteworthy image quality. The processor is a Mediatek Helio P23 with 64-bit architecture and MALI G71 MP2 dual core GPU at 770 MHz. The RAM is 6 GB with LPDDR4x technology, which increases performance and reduces battery consumption. The operating system is currently Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The notification led at the top right while the USB type C socket allows you to connect a headphone or an audio cable. For unlocking the phone there is a fingerprint reader located under the rear camera that works well and is easy to press. The primary camera is equipped with two sensors, each with a resolution of 13 Mpixels, the front camera is 8 Mpixel and allows excellent selfies. The upper status bar has large, poorly curated icons and allows you to adjust the screen brightness. A sliding side panel gives quick access to some basic functions. The 3620 mAh battery is not removable; wireless charging is not available, but fast charging via USB cable type C Pump Express + 2.0. In conclusion I can say that, despite some imperfections and given the price, the phone was a good buy.
