I recommend to use a thick paper to cut a gasket. this step is very important to avoid friction damage. I recommend this kit

If you want to turn your WPL truck from toy to hobby grade this is what you need.. Takes care of many of the week points. Before I was waiting for something to brake, now I just drive it. Low gear is really low, rock crawler low. High gear is very scale and manageable. All metal axles, output shafts, ring and pinion gears, and drive shafts feel solid. Metal knuckles make the steering straight and precise even with the stock steering links. I hadn't considered it but the first thing I noticed when I installed everything was how much weight it added, all of it down low where the truck needed it. The only thing wrong with this set is when fitting the bearings to the pinion gears in the axle. Either the brass shafts or the bearing aren't true. I used some sand paper to work down the brass shafts until the bearing went on and it works fine. Also on the axle cover where the output shaft goes through the inside bearing hole needed to be drilled out slightly for the bearing to seat properly. So some minor hand fitting is needed. It made it more fun for me to put it together.

it sounded like a coffee grinder before... now it's all smooth and no nslip. The gearbox so far was only used for light offroading and am still waiting for a propper test off road especially to test durability.

The gearbox works very well. There is a 3/8 difference in the length of the 2 speed gear box and the stock transmission. This makes the steel driveshafts work better with the 2 speed gear box. I agree with terms and conditions and privacy policy.

vraiment bien pour fiabiliser les vehicules wpl.. moteur avec 2 vitesses. le seul bemol y a pas de notice pour le reglage du servo du moteur...mais heureusement on trouve des tuto sur youtube.. bref du bon quand meme...je recommande mais pour personne connaissant un peu les bases du radio modélisme voiture. merci banggood malgre le retard de livraison.👍👍
