Excellent product for welding in tight places where normal masks/helmets make dificult the job. Also very useful for welding outdoors (where normal masks are interfered by the sun light entering from behind your head making you imposible to see what you are doing. This googles are fully closed and therefore sunlight is not any problem while welding. Unfortunatelly the product is not perfect: the yellow plastic is not opaque and the welding light shines inside. Not a big problem since you can apply thick black paint spray on the yellow parts. For the cheap price you can have an excellent tool for welding CAUTION: be carefull if welding upwards because the molten drops can damage your face. Also if you need to weld some time long, use sun protection cream to protect your face from the UV radiation

I love these goggles, I got tired of lifting my shield every time to start welding NOW with these goggles I can just wear them and never have to use 1 hand to raise or lower my shield ! They work great and are a great price !

As others users said, the only drawback of this welding mask, is the yellow plastic parts: these are not opaque enough, so a big portion of the ligth (either natural or artificial) comes inside between the mask and the eyes spoiling your vision prior to initiate the arc. The solution is -luckily- easy: just darken the interior yellow plastic parts using a opaque tape or better paint with a bit of matte black paint. Other than that, the mask performs quite well when used for small or intermitent welding works. Not recommended if you are about to weld a lot ... for safety reasons: it does not protect the rest of your head from the UV light coming from the welding arc (not matter if you use electrodes, MIG, TIG, etc

I just reordered a few of these for friends who liked mine. Of course it doesn't protect your face from flashburn, but it's great for confined spaces and occasional small projects. Can leave your hat or helmet on and mouth is free so doesn't steam up. The yellow vents do glow when welding, but hasn't bothered me enough to paint or tape over them A+

Good complement (now and then) for narrow spaces where a helmet can be obstrusive. A helmet protects all over Your face against excessive UV-exposure. Use a helmet for long periods of welding.

I was so glad when these came in the mail. I do a lot of welding, and Sometimes I have to get into weird positions, like looking down into a machine. With a regular helmet, it falls down and makes it very hard to get the job done. With these, I can put them on, and they stay in position the whole time and I can get my work done. Thank you.
