I am normally US Small or Medium - ordered XL for an oversized fit and it is definitely roomy but not huge (5'5" 130 lbs, not well endowed). The arms are not as roomy as expected or preferred given the oversized body. The blue looks purple in the photos but is a dull royal blue in real life. The material is a non-sheer medium heft cotton with a gauze-like texture after being washed with a somewhat linen-wrinkled look - I am not going to iron it before wearing it. It does drape as I like - not too stiff nor too loosey goosey like thin rayon. It covers my rear and side thighs which have expanded while on post-cancer estrogen blocker life-force-sucking pills. I like wearing loose woven tops with just a t-shirt or tank underneath and no bra to allow maximum lymphatic system circulation (no restrictions esp around torso) and for comfort. This is perfect for that - and the neck is not too low/wide but still easy to put on. I will probably order another one and may size up the 1X for larger arms (slight lymphedema in one arm - swelling). Check the photos for a better representation of the blue and to see the shape of the garment when laying flat.
