I ordered 2 of these. Other package was crushed during shipment but product was ok. Bigger problem is that one esc has bad casing (shown in pictures) and water can go inside so you might need to close that small cap with tape or epoxy. Performance on the motor is outstanding I highly. recommend this motor! I use this on my Traxxas Stampede cars. But keep in mind that axle size is 5mm and it is very hard to find pinion to fit 48P spur gear! Banggood dont have them but Hobby king has some.

I ordered this combo for a SCT I am building. The ESC was dead out of the box, but Banggood sent me a new one after a few emails. Second works. Seems like a decent budget combo. HOWEVER - I do not believe it is waterproof. I have had 2 other "Waterproof" Racerstar ESC's that both died from getting wet - one was just minor splashing. For this 80a ESC, I opened my dead one, and internally there is no sign of any kind of coating covering all the board - parts of the PCB have a thin lacquer glaze on them, but most of the boards are bare to the breadboard. I do not plan on getting this one wet, so hopefully it will last. Also - be sure to order the Racerstar programing card, as you cannot change the ESC settings without it.

Very powerful lot of torque very satisfied with this combo. The axle is for 1/8 so had to get a new gear to mount it on my 1/10 buggy but very worth it
