I am doing AS Levels Biology and needed to use this for extra practice. Overall it is decent and good value for money. I would say the 40x objective lens is not as strong as the more expensive microscopes that are used within schools. I do find it quite hard to focus the lens when using that magnification. It is perfectly fine using the other objective lenses though. Overall, it is still good practice to use it and glad I have it at this price. Delivery was great - easy to track the parcel. It took about three weeks in total. A private courier company was used (by default) to send this to me in South Africa, where there can sometimes be problems with postal service, so the private courier and detailed tracking is great.
