This PortaPack H1 works great. I paired it with a Banggood HackRF One and the combo is very cool. I updated the PortaPack firmware to the latest release with no problem. The "HackRF mode" works just like a normal HackRF One so you don't lose anything by pairing your HackRF with a PortaPack. This unit does not come with the case so purchase that separately.
