I bought this shaft to use in a 3D printer. Shipping was verry fast to the Netherlands and the shaft was verry well packed. The shaft looked good and also the edges were provided with a rounding. Unfortunately the specified straightness tolerances was not achieved. According to the specifications the straightness for this shaft is 0,02mm. Unfortunately my shaft had a straightness of 0.4mm Despite the worse straightness than the specified shaft, is this shaft still useful for many projects. And with

appears to be precision ground with consistent diameter over whole length. Am yet to turn them so cannot comment on machinability but great value at that price

I got several of these to construct a cnc. They are as described and the tolerances are low. The ends needs some touch-up because they may have a sharp edge. straightness was fine too.

very straight, very smooth, ends were well cut and finished with zero heat distortion from cutting.
