I am OE1NMB and like to take a small 2-band radio with me wherever I go. The UV-3R is just the ideal unit for this purpose - only the 2 separate aerials provided are a nuisence if you want to hop bands. When I chanced upon this Nagoya 2-band aerial I thought there must be an error in the price - and ordered it. I also ordered an SMA male-male gender changer (also from Bangood, ~€1). The surprise came when I tested the aerial (which took 10 days to arrive) - it actually gives better performance on 2m AND 70cm than the original rubber-ducks. See also the photo of myself using it in Makrigialos, Greece on the Thessaloniki and Volos relays. Note: if you have a UV-5R (later model) you do not need the gender-changer. P.S: I give it 5 stars on all, but can't see the stars!!
