Based on visual inspection. The LEDs are all too long (at least in the item received) and completely obstruct the sensor. They need to be shortened -- not difficult but not a necessary task. Can also be beneficial since then, one can bend the LEDs backwards to change illumination. Operation wise, not yet tested and I will have to do some object to sensor distance experiements and how much the LEDs saturate the signal. There will be tuning.
