Light from this bulb is really good! Inside is a converter which is filtered - so no 100 Hz flicker, just smoothly light. Color temperature is about 2700K so it looks very similar as standard wolfram bulb and this 8W bulb shine as 60W or 75W standard bulb. But just converter produces some noise little hi-freq and little "hum" but no so loud - when You ar 1 or 2 meters from bulb You already hear anything. I install this bulbs in corridors and the little noise don't hear :). But for example in living room is may be not best choice.
